Cassee Quantz # 335

I've been riding dirt bikes for about 7 years and racing for about 6. I started riding just after I met my now husband, who rode quite a lot. He taught me how to ride on the ice and then on the dirt the following Spring. Have been fully immersed ever since. I race in the Ladies and Vet Jr. classes in the Alberta Motorsports Association (AMSA), Ladies and Vet Jr. in the Spring and Fall Series at Wild Rose Motocross Association (WRMA) and the Western Canadian Women's Nationals on a Yamaha 250F. Currently, in the AMSA series, I am sitting in 1st place overall in the Ladies class and 11th overall in Vet Jr. Due to an unfortunate accident at round 7 of the AMSA series, I went from 5th overall to 11th. I'm hoping to make up some ground at the final two rounds to get into the top 10.

The sponsors I have backing me this year are: Bow Ridge Sports Cochrane, GQ Consulting Ltd., Big Dog Performance, SoCal MX Training Inc., Fox Head Canada, Bell USA, M7 Designs, Atlas Braces, ProAction Suspension, VP Fuels, Yamaha Canada, RynoPower Canada, Crystal Love & Healing.

I've been riding sleds since I could walk. My Dad got me into mountain riding and I got hooked. Eventually I started progressing with my backcountry freeriding and things took off. Mountain biking and skiing are my main influences for my style of riding, and I always look for different features to get creative on. Steep descent lines and vertical wind lips to use as quarter pipes always keep things interesting.

Chasing unique visuals in the form of video and photography always get me going too.

Bow Ridge Sports Cochrane has been such an essential supporter of my riding goals. It's not easy pushing yourself as an action sports athlete, and you certainly can't do it alone.

The Bow Ridge Sports crew has helped keep my sled rolling for a few seasons now, often last minute before a video or photo shoot. All the work and effort has paid off, and my riding career has been going places I never expected. I've been riding the Ski-Doo Freeride in the XM chassis for awhile, which has been bomb proof. This season I'll be hopping on a new 850 Freeride in the even more capable Rev G4 chassis, it'll help

My name is Louis Barnes, I am 10 years old.  I have lived in Calgary, Alberta all of my life.

I love riding and racing my dirt bike, when I am not racing, I enjoy riding my scooter, skating in the winter, and listening to music.I started racing when I was 4 years old.  I have raced in Alberta, BC and the USA.  In 2014 I won the 'Ryno Hard Charger' award, and was a Provincial Champion on my 50cc.  2017 was my first year on a 65cc dirt bike, I really enjoyed it, and can't wait for 2018.

My goal for 2018 is to be top 5 in the 65cc class, and top 10 in the 85 class.  I am a very proud to be a part of the Bow Ridge Sports MX team.

Daine Elliott, #99C

I was about 10 years old, when I got my first sled, a Yamaha Ovation 340! Tearing up my family's farmlands, it wasn't long before I was learning to side hill in the mountains with my newly attached mountain bars, which I welded on myself. I was living the dream on that custom 340.

Loving the adrenalin, I continued to ride and progress through the years in both backcountry and drag racing. In 2007, I started racing Hillcross and Snocross. In 2012 I completed my first hillclimb with RMSHA, (Rocky Mountain States Hillclimb Association) a professional snowmobile hillclimb organization that is ran throughout the USA (www.rmsha.net). I become a member of the pro division every year since 2013 and have qualified for the Jackson Hole World Championship Hillclimb three years in a row.

It has always been the thing that brings the most joy to me.  When you are riding, it's like nothing else matters, but waiting for that light to turn green, where to shave time, what line to take, what holes to miss and most importantly, how to beat the clock.  I love the adrenalin and the people I have met in the RMSHA circuit.  It's a tough sport and it wouldn't be possible without the support from everyone and my sponsors.

I plan to continue racing for the long term. It's what drives me to work hard in my heavy equipment construction company, Irontek Land Developments, in Calgary, Alberta. Sledding has always been and will be my passion. There's just nothing like that feeling that sledding gives you, whether you're behind the handlebars or in the trailer just hanging out with those who share the same passion. - Daine Elliott, #99C.
